Strata collects nothing. There is no account, no telemetry, no analytics, and no crash reporting. This page is short because there is very little to describe.

What the app sends

One thing, and only if you leave it on: a check for a new version. That request reaches the update server and contains what any web request contains: your IP address, and the version of macOS and of Strata that is asking. It carries no identifier, no licence key, and nothing about your files.

You can turn it off in Settings, and the app keeps working with it off.

What the app never sends

Everything the app learns about your disk stays on your Mac and is discarded when you quit.

Your licence

Licence keys are verified on your Mac using cryptography. Activating one does not contact us and does not require a network connection. We never learn which machines a key has been used on, or how many.

Your email address and order number are carried inside the key itself so that support can identify a purchase you tell us about. We do not read them; your Mac does.

Buying

Payment is handled by our reseller, who is the merchant of record and processes the transaction under their own privacy policy. We receive an order reference and the email address you gave them, which is used to send you a key and to answer support. We do not see your card details at any point.

This website

Static pages, no cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, no embedded fonts or trackers. Your host will keep ordinary server logs; we do not attach anything to them.

Getting in touch

Questions about any of this to support@stratamaccleaner.com. If you want a copy of what we hold about you, the honest answer is likely to be an order reference and an email address, and we will send it.
