The whole map, the search and the readouts, with no time limit and no account. Paid tiers unlock removing things.

15-day refund, no questions, and it opens on the first try.

What you get

Six tools. One window.

The map

A treemap of any drive or folder. Sizes are what files occupy on disk, so the totals match Finder instead of arguing with it.

Search

By name or extension. final .mp4 finds MP4s with "final" in the name. Case and accents ignored.

Large files

Everything over a size you pick, biggest first, with a bar on each row so the list reads at a glance.

Uninstaller

Removes an app and the files it left across your Library. Every leftover rated, weak matches left unticked.

Live readouts

Processor, memory, battery and free space. Memory counted the way Activity Monitor counts it.

Undo

Everything goes to the Trash. One click puts it back, from Strata or from Finder.

Why Strata

Built the opposite way to most Mac cleaners.

No invented problems

No "issues found" counter, no red badge, no urgency. Every number on screen is a measurement of a real file, and what goes is your call.

14 MB, not 105

Swift, native, no bundled browser engine. An app that promises to reclaim space should not take a hundred megabytes of it first.

Reversible by default

You see the full list before anything moves, with protected items called out and the reason. Removal means the Trash, so Finder can put it back even if you never open Strata again.

Common questions

Before you download.

Why does it ask for Full Disk Access?

macOS hides Mail, Messages, Safari and other apps' data from any app that has not been granted it. Without the permission the scan still runs, but those folders are invisible and your totals come out short. Nothing is uploaded either way.

Is anything deleted permanently?

No. Everything goes to the Trash, so Finder can put it back even if you never open Strata again. When a disk has no Trash, removal fails and tells you rather than doing something permanent instead.

Is this a subscription?

No. Every tier is a one-time purchase that does not expire. Bug fixes, security fixes and macOS compatibility updates are free forever, whatever you paid.
